Meet the Composer
Isaia Bresolin is a composer and orchestrator currently studying in USC's Screen Scoring program. Passionate about storytelling through music, he specializes in crafting beautiful, melodic, and evocative scores that transport audiences into new worlds—whether through film, television, or video games.
Equally drawn to the cinematic and interactive aspects of music, Isaia finds inspiration in both the emotional depth of film scores and the immersive storytelling of video game music. He enjoys composing for a variety of mediums, blending orchestral richness with modern electronic textures to create soundscapes that enhance visual narratives.
Originally from Honolulu, Hawai'i, Isaia’s musical journey began at a young age with piano and cello, leading him to explore a diverse range of styles. He draws influence from composers like Alexandre Desplat, Howard Shore, John Williams, and Gareth Coker, and iconic scores from films such as The Lord of the Rings, The Theory of Everything, and Gladiator, and game scores like Skyrim, The Witcher 3, and Ori and the Blind Forest.
Throughout his career, Isaia has collaborated with filmmakers, game developers, and fellow musicians from universities such as USC, Royal College of Art, Chapman University, Artcenter College of Design, and California College of the Arts, bringing stories to life through music. In 2016, he composed the score to the Po’okela awarded production of Julius Caesar, shown in the Hawai’i Theater. Whether scoring a film or crafting an interactive game soundtrack, he strives to create music that resonates emotionally and elevates storytelling.
Currently based in Los Angeles, Isaia is always looking to connect with creative minds and explore new musical possibilities.
